Lead by Google and Microsoft, digital media revenues were up 4.1%% YoY in Q2 2022
Strategy Analytics' Digital Media Index (DMI) analyzes quarterly digital media revenue trends for 42 publicly traded companies across games, advertising, video, music, and social media. The Digital Media Index measures growth on both a quarterly and trailing twelve month (TTM) basis.
After falling in Q1 2022 digital media revenues recovered in Q2 2022, growing $3.25B, up 1.6% QoQ, among companies tracked. Google ($1.67B), Microsoft ($1.06B) and Facebook ($914MB) saw the largest growth in Q2 2022.
In terms of absolute revenues, Google remains the DMI leader, generating $69.68B in revenues during Q2 2022, followed by Facebook with $28.82B, and Apple with $19.60B.
