Social Network Profile Facebook Usage Reaches 75 in the US

Report Summary:
Facebook usage continued to grow between Q4 2012 and Q2 2013 in every country in our 6000 user survey. Three quarters of US respondents now use Facebook at least weekly and although usage in France and Germany is lower it still reaches more than 50% of respondents. More than half the population uses Facebook at least daily in the US, UK and Italy. Not surprisingly given its reach there are not many wide demographic disparities, although usage amongst older age groups is still markedly lower than younger groups. This Bulletin presents selected survey findings related to users of Facebook based on a survey of more than 6100 respondents in the US, France, Germany, Italy and the UK.
