Strategy Analytics conducted an online survey of consumer attitudes toward television and broadband service providers. This Bulletin presents the results of a survey of nearly one thousand respondents in Germany.
We find evidence that Deutsche Telekom’s customer profile is stronger in higher income households, and accordingly, Deutsche Telekom customers are less concerned about household bills than those of its counterparts. Deutsche Telekom customers are more likely to own Apple smartphones and tablets than those of its competitors. Broadband satisfaction levels are higher for Deutsche Telekom customers than the German national average, and Deutsche Telekom customers enjoy some of the highest penetration of advanced Pay TV services in Germany.
