Strategy Analytics forecasts that global IoT cellular device installed base will increase at a 15% CAGR between 2018 and 2025. The IoT cellular installed base was dominated by 2G and 4G devices in 2018, but this mix will shift over the forecast period, with around a third of the installed base 5G by 2025. Asia Pacific will remain the most dominant region by volume over the forecast period, followed by North America and Western Europe.
