Strategy Analytics forecasts that global IoT cellular device sales will grow at a CAGR of just under 4% between 2019 and 2030.The growth in 5G modules for IoT will start slowly, with most applications requiring only low power data rates and affordable modules. Strategy Analytics has revised its 5G forecast downwards in the short term. While 5G modules will form only 1% of volumes in 2020, they will comprise 76% of all annual module sales by 2030.
