Global smartwatch revenues in Q1 2019 were up 33% YoY while smartwatch ASPs remained steady due upward pressure from the increased pricing of the Apple Watch Series 4, offset by the more affordable Fitbit Versa and Versa Lite. Apple remains the revenue leader, while Samsung held firm.  Apple and Huawei have met limited success with ultra high-end smartwatches, therefore it is the sub-US$500 segment that counts for roughly 8 of every 10 units sold and, roughly 60% of dollars spent. Our report tracks smartwatch revenues and shipments market share for leading vendors by quarter from 2013 to Q1 2019.
