Report Summary:

For a variety of reasons, such as key vendors using their own events to launch Tablets, or vendors preferring to wait for Mobile World Congress (MWC) in March, CES 2015 was a quiet event for Tablets. CES was about connecting anything, which meant that big brands which used to focus on a handful of particular market segments, have now have been forced to spread themselves thin over a wide range of product segments and with varying quality and priced products, in order to maintain exposure in a market which many cannot even accurately define. There were some interesting new Tablets, but some were never seen on the Show Floor, they were tucked away in Hotels or private viewings. This report details what we found.
