Demand for tablets in enterprise is heating up, driven by efficiencies gained through mobility, greater emphasis on data security, and new use cases enabled by new tablet designs. Sadly, these advantages have not fully translated to the consumer market, which is in a slump dating back to 2014. Shipment declines in this segment are projected to continue for the next several years and most tablet vendors have few tools available to compete in enterprise market as a way to escape.
