Q413 HTC Slump Continues - Hopes Pinned on Improved Marketing

Please contact us to discuss pricing Contact Us

Report Summary:

HTC’s global smartphone shipments declined year-on-year in Q4 2013 in spite of greater seasonal demand, making it the worst quarter for the company for almost four years in terms of global shipments. HTC will respond to its continued slump in smartphone shipments by re-entering the mid-range device market which it had previously abandoned. While it will continue to launch premium products, it must now address how to make more affordable smartphones for emerging markets and how to become more aggressive and sophisticated in its marketing activities.
