Global smartphone shipments dipped -8% annually in Q3 2018. Samsung remained the world's largest vendor in global smartphone market this quarter, and topped in Europe, Central Latin America and Middle East Africa. Huawei ranked the second largest smartphone vendor for two quarters in a row. It posted solid growth across all regions except North America. Apple ranked the third place but maintained the first place in North America and gained market share annually in all regions except Europe.
