LG posted consolidated quarterly revenue of US$13.07 billion, up 7% year-on-year, and quarterly operating profit of US$0.32 billion, a loss of 13% year-on-year. Despite substantial gains within the Mobile Communications and Other segments, operating income fell company-wide on an annual basis largely on steep declines within the Home Entertainment segment. A four-quarter forecast is provided in this report for unit sales for Flat Panel TVs.
