Report Summary:

Tesla is about to approach the half-million-units-a-year mark with a market capital challenging the largest established auto groups, Volkswagen and Toyota. Leveraging an established lead in EV development, the company is able to offer class leading powertrain efficiency in the battery electric sector, and the tabless 4680 format battery cell with dry electrode coating technology aims to lower cost further.  Meanwhile, start-up auto makers are receiving much-needed investment from SPACs, while some of them are receiving interest in their electric delivery vans.
