The market for automotive electronic systems is forecast to grow at a CAAGR of 7.4% in dollar terms over 2018 to 2023, despite concerns over vehicle production levels and strong industry headwinds in 2019. This forecast update shows a 0.5% decline in anticipated demand in 2026 over the previous version. This is mainly due to more a more pessimistic outlook for light vehicle production, particularly in China and India, offset in part by a boost to the forecast for electric parking brakes and EV/PHEV models.
