This report presents Strategy Analytics’ user evaluation of the 2014 Acura MDX infotainment system with AcuraLink. While participants were initially positive regarding the dual-display interface, most participants ended up being confused by the inconsistent and poorly defined interaction between the two displays. Pandora is considered as a useful in-vehicle feature, while most participants were not interested in Facebook or Twitter readout capability, or many of the features of Aha Radio. The long voice prompts of the speech interface were also a main cause of dissatisfaction.
