In April 2013, Strategy Analytics conducted heuristic evaluations of the Audi MMI system and the BMW ConnectedDrive in China. For both the Audi MMI and BMW ConnectedDrive, English text labels and some ambiguous Chinese text labels would cause some usability and discoverability issues for Chinese drivers. With limited features and possible discoverability issues, users may find the Audi Connect feature hard to use. Not only integrated with more localized apps such as Baidu Ting and Sina Weibo, the BMW ConnectedDrive also provides more advanced multiscreen features via the newly launched “My BMW” app.
