Strategy Analytics conducted a user experience benchmark of the 2015 Hyundai Sonata with Android Auto. The requirement to manually enable Android Auto will drive down adoption. Integration with the native infotainment system resulted in confusion and frustration for some tasks such as receiving text messages when listening to AM/FM radio. For tasks which could be completed by both systems, participants overwhelmingly preferred the user experience of Android Auto.
