Report Summary:

Strategy Analytics conducted a secret shopper exercise using real potential buyers and visiting dealers representing 4 different automakers.  In some cases, dealer representatives provided no insight on new advanced safety and infotainment features.  In other cases, sales representatives were confused and features were misrepresented during test drives.  Changes to the dealer education process for advanced driving features, particularly semi-autonomous driving functions, are urgently needed.
