Strategy Analytics surveyed consumers in the US, Western Europe, and China investigating their priorities when purchasing a vehicle. The upfront price of the car has been ranked the most important factor in both the US and Western Europe, while Chinese respondents placed the greatest importance on the ride and handling of a car. Both fuel efficiency and vehicle quality were in the top five factors by respondents across all regions. Safety features were a higher priority than infotainment features across all regions.
