Strategy Analytics undertook a worldwide internet-based survey to investigate consumers’ satisfaction with their ADAS features.
A total of 4,990 car owners across the US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, and China were surveyed.
Only respondents who reported owning a car equipped with a certain ADAS feature were surveyed about that specific feature.
Thus, they were surveyed about their firsthand experience with features aimed at enhancing their situation awareness (e.g., Forward Collision Alert), enhancing their response in a context (e.g., Automatic Emergency Braking) or provide extra convenience to the driving experience (e.g., Cruise Control systems).
Compared to 2020, owners’ satisfaction with ADAS features improves in the US, worsens in Western Europe for some features, and springs back to 2019 levels in China.
