Inside Sales Support – North America

Strategy Analytics is looking for inside sales support to work with the North American sales team to drive new business development and to provide customer service & support to our client base.

 

In this position you will be interacting with a wide range of people, both internally & externally, to support North America’s business development efforts, primarily in the West Coast.  This role will encompass both supporting the new business development sales process and account management of existing clients.  This is a small established team where flexibility will be required.

 

The position is task-focused and requires excellent attention to detail, with strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and enthusiastically.  A proactive, self-starter who can work independently as well as part of a successful team is required.

 

Specific responsibilities will include:

 

Business Development and Marketing Support

  • Mine active client accounts and users for potential upsell service and custom sales opportunities.
  • Active dialogue with clients & prospects with a view to arranging Microsoft Teams calls or face-to-face meetings as needed.
  • Use contact database and platforms (ZoomInfo/LinkedIn) for sales prospecting efforts.
  • Manage campaign activity for developing sales qualified leads.
  • Provide support and back-up to North American business development team.
  • Handle administrative tasks as required.

 

Customer Relationship Management

  • Use of Salesforce CRM for account management and new business development.
  • Address client/customer support to ad-hoc requests.
  • Provide usage metrics and reporting for client upon request by business development.
  • Includes supporting North American sales team by maintaining and updating contact and company information in Salesforce.

 

Sales Operation Duties

  • As needed, participate in marketing activities for sales support and client acquisition, including webinar development and coordination.
  • Handle administrative and all other requirements as assigned for US staff

 

 

 

The ideal candidate will have these skills and qualifications:

  • Telephone sales & customer service experience required, ideally, in a high-tech environment;
  • Excellent organizational skills coupled with clear communication skills and strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to multi-task and work with deadlines;;
  • Self-starter with a willingness to learn;
  • Team player, able to work closely with the sales team and wider analyst teams;
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Additional skills needed include: Salesforce CRM, ZoomInfo and Pardot

 

Working Conditions:

  • Reports to Vice President, Sales and Marketing
  • Position is in the US and will be remotely based
