Inside Sales Support - North America

USA: Newton, MA

In this position you will be interacting with a wide range of people, both internally & externally, to support North America’s sales targets. This role will encompass both account management of existing clients and supporting the new business development sales process. This will include assisting in the development and maintenance of business relationships, both existing clients as well as new business development. This is a small established team where flexibility will be required.

The position is task-focused and requires excellent attention to detail, with strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and enthusiastically.  A proactive, self-starter who is able to work independently as well as part of a successful team is required. On-going support will be provided.

 

Specific responsibilities will include:

Sales Support & Administration

  • Active follow up of North American clients & prospects with a view to arranging WebEx calls or face-to-face meetings;
  • Preparation and support of sales and marketing campaigns and follow up;
  • Arranging new business & client meetings as required;
  • Provide support and back-up to North American business development team;
  • Responsibility for company webinar follow-up & coordination in conjunction with SA Global offices;
  • Handle administrative tasks as required.

 

Customer Relationship Management

  • Registering new clients and approved users of Strategy Analytics research;
  • Coordinate new client kick-off calls;
  • Address client/customer support to ad-hoc requests;
  • Provide usage metrics and reporting for client upon request by business development.

 

Guest Registration Database Management

  • Administer inbound requests (via Guest Registrations) for information and assignment (as needed to business development personnel);
  • Enter guest registrations details into CRM database;
  • Address report sales via telephone and SA website (as needed).

 

Salesforce (SF) Administration

  • Includes supporting North American sales team by maintaining and updating contact and company information in Salesforce.

Event Planning (Internal)

  • Includes contract negotiation, event orders and fulfillment;
  • Coordinate of sales meeting events.

 

Administrative Duties

  • Participate in marketing activities for sales support and client acquisition, including webinar coordination;
  • Provide back-up to North America business development personnel (vacation, travel…);
  • Handle administrative and all other requirements as assigned for US staff

 

The ideal candidate will have these skills and qualifications:

  • Telephone sales & customer service experience required, ideally, in a high-tech environment;
  • Excellent organizational skills coupled with clear communication skills and strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to multi-task and work with deadlines;
  • Self-starter with a willingness to learn;
  • Team player, able to work closely with the sales team and wider analyst teams;
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
