Prior to founding Strategy Analytics in 1996, Harvey was President of Technology Applications Group and President of BIS Mackintosh, firms specializing in marketing information and analysis for technology businesses

He also spent nine years at Data Resources, Inc., where he consulted with Fortune 500 firms in support of market and strategic planning activities

Mr. Cohen holds an SM in Management from the Sloan School at MIT, an MS in Materials Science from Ohio State University and an SB in Materials Science from MIT

David Kerr

Senior Vice President

Global Wireless Practice

 

Mr. Kerr has 30 years of experience in the mobility space and has worked with leading operators, device vendors, and solutions providers to translate technology capabilities into effective customer value propositions.

He is responsible for the Global Wireless, Intelligent Home and Teligen Tariff practices at Strategy Analytics. Mr. Kerr is responsible for setting the research agenda across networks, applications and devices in the wireless space and for developing new syndicated research programs which extend our leadership in the connected consumer and connected business segments. 

Mr. Kerr has spoken at dozens of industry conferences and has completed numerous custom consulting projects centering on opportunity assessment, market segmentation, portfolio analysis, and competitive assessment.

David holds an Executive MBA degree from Suffolk University, Boston, and a BA Marketing from Thames University London.




Barry Gilbert

Barry Gilbert is one of the founders of Strategy Analytics and is currently responsible for the development of new programs, a role which has seen him oversee the development and launch of AppOptix

Barry has over 25 years’ experience in high technology research and consulting, including roles as the COO of Current Analysis, Managing Vice President of consulting for Bowne, and leadership roles at IDC, Computer Intelligence/InfoCorp, and as co‐founder and EVP of the Market Information Center

Barry holds a BA from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Clark University’s Graduate School of Business.




Chris Webber

Ian Riches

Vice President

Global Automotive Practice

 

As Executive Director for the Global Automotive Practice, Ian Riches head research teams that cover all aspects of core automotive electronic systems, semiconductors and sensors on a worldwide basis.  Ian has always been passionate about cars - his parents joke that he was shouting Ford! Volkswagen! before he said Cat! Dog!.  His areas of research include powertrain, chassis, safety, security and body applications including high-growth areas such as hybrid and electric vehicles, advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous vehicles.

Prior to joining Strategy Analytics, Ian spent two years working as assistant editor of Automotive Engineer, the UK magazine published by the IMechE.  He has also held the position of Press Officer/Technical Author for MTL, a company that manufactures safety-related electronic equipment.

With over twenty years of experience, he is one of the foremost industry analysts in the automotive electronics sector.

Ian holds an MA in engineering from Cambridge University, UK, where he specialized in fluid dynamics, turbo-machinery and internal combustion engines.




Kevin Nolan

User Experience Practice

 

As Vice President of the Strategy Analytics UX Innovation Practice, Kevin Nolan leads a team that advises on all aspects of the consumer interaction with technology in the intelligent home, in the connected vehicle and while mobile.

Kevin has 20 years' experience managing research, analysis and consulting projects in the wireless, connected devices and semiconductor industries, and has spent more than a decade consulting on user experience and innovation strategies.

Prior to joining Strategy Analytics in 2002, he was a partner at Hexagon Internet where he managed website development and user experience optimization projects for international clients across a number of sectors.  He started his career as an analyst at Strategy

Analytics predecessor company, BIS Strategic Decisions.   Kevin holds a BA (Hons) degree in International Business from Herriot-Watt University, Edinburgh and a Diplôme Professionnel en Commerce International from ESSEC Business School, Paris.




Joy Ganvik

Consumer Insights Practice

 

Joy leads Strategy Analytics’ Consumer Insights team which she founded upon joining the company in 2013

In Joy’s most recent role she led Motorola’s Consumer Insights team, which was responsible for all research worldwide – from market understanding to early phase innovation and development

Prior to her role at Motorola, Joy led a team of researchers as the VP of Market Research for a large financial institution

Joy holds an undergraduate degree in Operations Management from Western Illinois University




Michael Mcmurray

Michael McMurray

Vice President

Sales & Marketing

 

Michael manages Strategy Analytics’ global business development team

He is also responsible for coordinating marketing and promotional efforts to expand SA’s reach and awareness

Prior to joining Strategy Analytics, Michael held similar sales, marketing and business development roles at 451 Group, Nielsen Media Research and Rainbow Advertising Sales (a division of the Cablevision Corporation)

Michael holds a BS degree in Communications from Ohio University




Robert Mason

Robert Mason

Chief Digital Innovation Officer

Robert is Vice President responsible for IT operations, client implementation,  application development teams and data security. In addition, he is a subject matter expert in applied artificial intelligence and machine learning forecasting.

Previously, Robert worked for a leading provider of managed services and provided strategic planning and statistical analysis for local government

He has 30 years’ experience in strategic planning, technological, statistical, procedural and business/service experience in the IT domain
