Netherlands - KPN introduces iPhone plans

by Johanna Helgadottir | Nov 03, 2011

At the end of October, KPN added iPhone tariffs to its existing postpaid offering.

There are five new iPhone Messaging tariffs with monthly rentals between Eur35 and EUR 75.00. All plans give a voice and data allowance as well as unlimited SMS to any Dutch operator. Billing is minute and out-of-bundle charges are EUR 0.30.

Monthly rental for the seven new iPhone Smart plans starts at EUR 42.50. These tariffs include higher data allowances at higher speeds. In addition to minutes and unlimited SMS, users receive 500 text messages per month for use in Passport countries. Calls are billed per second after the first minute and will be charged at EUR 0.35 per minute outside the allowance.
