Brazil - Vivo introduces Smartphone plans

by Josie Sephton | Jun 16, 2011

Brazilian operator Vivo has launched a range of eight plans for Smartphones. All plans come with a voice and data allowance ranging from 45 minutes and 50MB to 1600 minutes and 250MB. To customise their plan, users can select two out of four add-ons: a text message allowance, national roaming minutes, off-peak minutes or minutes to preferential numbers. The highest value plan, Vivo Smartphone Completo, includes all four benefits.

Vivo's range of seven iPhone tariffs, introduced earlier this year, operates along similar lines. These plans give a higher data allowance and consequently, incur a higher monthly rental.
