Realme Witnessed First Ever Shipment Annual Decline in Q2 2022

by Abhilash Kumar | Aug 08, 2022

As per the latest research, Realme's smartphone shipment witnessed an annual decline for the first time ever in Q2 2022. It declined -21% annually and -10% sequentially for the quarter. Revenue was more or less inline with shipment decline trend.

Inventory pile up, unfavourable market conditions and economic headwinds were the prime reason for that.

Asia Pacific continues to be the sweet spot for Realme as more than 3/4th of the shipment pertains to this region. Among Asia Pacific, India, China and South East Asia are the key markets.
