Huawei may have taken a knock in
smartphones, but it is alive and kicking in
wearables...
New research this week from our
Wearables (WDE) team shows
Huawei overtook
Xiaomi to become the world's
2nd largest wearables vendor in 2021.
Excluding earbuds, Huawei has around 2 times more marketshare worldwide than
Samsung and 3 times more than
Fitbit.
It is an impressive return to form for Huawei. Less than 5 years ago, its wearables ranking was close to zero.
Huawei is
back.
