Amazon confirmed this week it will enter the nascent US smartglasses market with Echo Frames from Q4 2019.

The digital spectacles look socially acceptable, come with Alexa on the go, up to 14hrs of battery life, and cost US$180 retail. They are "affordable premium".

Most importantly, Echo Frames bring Alexa voice-rec into the street, shop, car, office, and every room of your home.
