Garmin’s new
MARQ range of luxury smartwatches is selling for well over US$1,000 in North America and worldwide. It is a brave attempt to push upmarket into the
luxury segment. However, Garmin is not perceived as a luxury brand, prices look way too high, and -- like the Apple Watch Edition -- we think this will probably flop.
