Over the weekend Samsung announced the Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge with a waterproof and dust tight ingress protection ratings of IP68, expandable storage and improved camera features. This morning Sony Mobile announced the next generation of Xperia smartphones, the Xperia X series. The Xperia X series includes 3 models; Xperia X, Xperia X Performance and Xperia XA (mid-range product). Unlike the Xperia Z series the Xperia X series does not have a water-resistant rating but boasts improvements to camera functionality and design.
