Vivo’s Wholesale ASP Hit the Highest Ever in Q2’22

Vivo shipped 24.9 million smartphones worldwide for a market share of 9% in Q2 2022. The fifth ranked vendor however witnessed a volume decline of -21% annually in the quarter. Its estimated Wholesale Average Selling Price (ASPs) hit the highest ever and at US$ 226. This, as its dependence on the budget Y series declined slightly. During the quarter its revenues declined along side the volumes and Profit margins stagnated. Vivo entered the foldables segment with the launch of X Fold in the quarter but has  confined it to the Chinese market for now. How dis X Fold perform?
