Lenovo-Motorola Posted Record High Impressive ASP Growth In Q1 2022

According to Strategy Analytics, Lenovo-Motorola's shipment grew +4% YoY in Q1 2022. The vendor posted solid annual growth for five consecutive quarters after 4 quarters of continuous decline. In terms of ASP, the vendor posted impressive performance. Estimated global smartphone wholesale ASP grew 24% YoY. This is the highest ever smartphone ASP performance since 2014. Greater mix of higher-priced Edge series and 5G enabled G series mainly drove up the ASP growth this quarter. Revenue also bumped up  +28% YoY and the brand successfully remained profitable for six quarters in a row. Americas continue to be the sweet spot for the vendor and hold the major share.
