Global Smartphone Wholesale Revenue Will Grow +5% in 2019

According to the latest forecast report from our Wireless Smartphone Strategies (WSS) service: Global Smartphone Revenues and ASP Forecasts by 88 Countries : 2012 to 2023, global smartphone wholesale revenue will growth +5% YoY in 2018 and 2019 respectively.  Meanwhile, global smartphone wholesale ASP will remain upwards track in the following two years, mainly due to technology innovation (5G, flexible display etc.), greater portion of replacement sales, as well as component price volatility etc.

We forecast the 4 largest countries to account for 54% of all smartphone wholesale revenues worldwide in 2019. We recommend prioritizing these four countries to get the biggest bang for your buck. They have huge populations and buy plenty of 4G and 4.5G phones. The "big 4" countries will be China, US, India and Japan.

We forecast the 10 largest countries to account for 70% of all smartphone wholesale revenues worldwide in 2019. We recommend prioritizing these ten countries to get an even bigger bang for your buck. The "big 10" countries will be China, US, India, Japan, UK, Germany, South Korea, France, Brazil, and Indonesia.

Japan
will generate the world's highest wholesale smartphone ASP by 2019, while Sudan will maintain the lowest ASP worldwide because of the strong demand of entry tier smartphones. 

This extensive report forecasts wholesale ASPs and revenues for 88 countries worldwide from 2012 to 2023.
