According to the latest report from our Wireless Smartphone Strategies (WSS) service: US Unlocked Smartphone Vendor Market Share : Q4 2017, US unlocked smartphone shipment posted a +20% YoY growth during Q4 2017 mainly thanks to newly launched products from Motorola, Blu, and Samsung etc. Apple regained the leading position this quarter mainly thanks to the replacement sales of iPhone Upgrade Program. However, the adoption curve of iPhone Upgrade Program is lower than what we expected before.

Blu and Motorola almost tied and followed Apple in top 3 list this quarter. Samsung, TCL-Alcatel and LG are also among the major players in this category.
