by Linda Sui | Nov 08, 2017

The "unlocked" smartphone market has been growing rapidly across the United States in recent years. It posted a +28% YoY growth during Q3 2017 mainly thanks to newly launched products from Motorola, Blu, and Samsung etc.

Motorola surpassed Blu and topped the chart for the first time ever, mainly thanks to the healthy demand of newly launched Moto E4 series across Amazon, BestBuy and other retailers. Blu yield to the second place. Samsung, Apple, TCL-Alcatel and LG are also among the major players in this category.
