Q3’17 : Apple : Rebound in China but Decline in US

by Yiwen Wu | Nov 06, 2017

Apple posted a mixed quarter. Its iPhone shipment slightly grew +3% YoY, below once again global average (+5% YoY). While the demand of newly launched iPhone 8 models is a mixed bag, the healthy demand of iPhone 7 series stabilized ASP and slightly improved revenue annually. Apple returned to the growth track in mainland China and posted a strong momentum in India. In contrast, it saw annual decline in home market USA due to weaker than expected demand for iPhone 8 models. How many iPhone X will be shipped globally in Q4 2017? Is Apple well-positioned for a strong growth in Q4 2017?
