Global Smartphone Wholesale Revenue Will Growth +12% in 2018

According to the latest report from our WSS service: Global Smartphone Revenues, ASPs and Price-Tier Forecasts : 2003 to 2022, global smartphone wholesale (trade) revenues are forecasted to increase +12% in 2018, thanks to rebounded volumes and improved ASP.

As the market grows over the next five years, global revenues will keep posting positive growth mainly driven by replacement sales in higher tier segments and hardware innovations (curved AMOLED display, flexible display etc.) , as well as migration towards 5G.  From 2021 onwards, global smartphone revenues will resume relative strong growth mainly driven by 5G smartphone uptakes in selected regions / countries.

This report forecasts global smartphone sales volume, revenues and wholesale ASPs by six major regions and eight price-tiers from 2003 to 2022. Extensive analysis of the premium, high, mid, entry and ultra-low price-bands is included.
