LG to Push Mid-Tier Smartphones in 2017

by Neil Mawston | Dec 28, 2016

LG says it will introduce five new mid-range smartphones for the US and worldwide next month at CES 2017.

There will be four K series models (K3 / K4 / K8 / K10) and a new Stylus 3 device. Some models will include near-premium features at mid-tier pricepoints, such as a 120-degree wide-angle camera lens.

This is a smart and much-needed move by LG. The South Korean firm must fight back against Chinese rivals (like Huawei) and offer better smartphone models with better features in better channels at better prices.
