According to the latest report from our Wireless Smartphone Strategies (WSS) services, Global Smartphone Top 100+ Microvendors Market Share : Q3 2016, global smartphone shipment grew +6% YoY standing at 375 million units during Q3 2016. Top 30+ vendors combined only grew +3%. In contrast, all 100+ microvendors together posted a robust +27% YoY growth rate.

All microvendors together made up 15% of global smartphone volumes, up from 12% one year ago. Microvendors, like 360 and Lefeng in China, Reliance Jio in India and INNJOO in Africa, are growing faster than average.
