Cyanogen is looking beyond Micromax, in the Indian smartphone market and is likely to have six more OEM partners in 2016. The Android fork has had an exclusive partnership with Micromax, for its subsidiary brand Yu Televentures in last one year. Yu enjoyed relative success, as it went on to sell more than a million devices in 2015, primarily positioned in the entry and mid-price tiers. With the just launched Yu Yutopia smartphone Cyanogen now has a presence in the premium price tier too.
