We notice
Xiaomi has continued to launch this year a rising wave of
5G phone models in China and Europe, and possibly upcoming to the US.
For example, Xiaomi's recent
Poco M4 Pro 5G handset comes in with near-premium features at a competitive US$250 retail pricepoint. It is a "good enough" 5G device with a
huge 5,000 mAh battery that is priced at a third of a 5G iPhone. Motorola, TCL, HMD Nokia and others will be concerned.
Xiaomi's
strong 5G push is a continuation of
last year's performance. Xiaomi scored
two 5G models in the world's top-15 bestsellers during the
second half of 2021, such as Redmi Note 10 Pro. The Chinese brand is on a 5G roll.
