Russia is making a lot of headlines in recent months, but its smartphone market is holding up reasonably well for now. The market grew a mild +2% in the first 9 months of last year.

Top of the Russia charts at the moment is Xiaomi's Redmi Note 10T 5G model, which currently holds 3% of the whole Russia smartphone market.

However, Samsung is regaining confidence and chasing Xiaomi hard for that top spot, with plenty of good A, S and Flip models. It remains to be seen whether Xiaomi can hold the no.1 place in Russia thru 2022.
