Moto G7 Smartphones Target Mid-Tier in US

by Neil Mawston | Feb 07, 2019

Motorola (Lenovo) is well known for its midrange Moto G smartphones.

Moto this week is getting in early, before MWC, to announce its four latest G models. They are targeting the midrange and affordable-high-tier:

* Moto G7 Plus = US$300 wholesale.
* Moto G7 = US$240 wholesale.
* Moto G7 Power = US$200 wholesale.
* Moto G7 Play = US$160 wholesale.

Those models will be launched mostly in North America.

Moto will no doubt push its new 4G models hard in the United States this year. According to our Smartphone Model Tracker (SMT), Moto today has only 2 models inside the top-20 best-selling phones in the US and has not had a top-10 hit for some time.
