Samsung Galaxy S7 and Apple iPhone 6s at the Top of Germany's Smartphone Market in Q2 2016

Germany is Western Europe's second-largest smartphone market in volume terms, after the UK and ahead of France. Our extensive report, available to clients of our Smartphone Model Tracker (SMT) service, shows the top-50 bestselling smartphone models in Germany in the second quarter of 2016. It provides an added level of granularity and depth, building on our global view of the bestselling smartphone families and models.

The Samsung Galaxy S7, the Apple iPhone 6s, and the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge were the top-3 smartphone models in Germany in Q2 2016. Looking at the top-10 list, however, one finds four models from Samsung, four from Apple, and two from Huawei. The market structure remains consolidated among the top brands and models.
