Our recent analysis from the multi country quarterly tracker report, is indicative of a decline for most markets, in the Q1 2022 quarter. Of the additional 45 markets that were tracked in this report, 31 of them have shown an annual decline. A total of 60 markets have been tracked in this report and together they accounted for over 94% of the global smartphone volumes. Of these 60 45 markets were smaller but o prominence: Multitude of reasons led to a below par smartphone volumes at the country level and were inclusive of Component shortages, unfavorable economic and geopolitical conditions, COVID -19 resurgence in China.
