New research (here) from our Smartphone Country Tracker confirms Samsung has improved its position as the no.1 cellphone brand at Verizon Wireless in the US during Q3 2021.

Samsung grabbed nearly HALF of all mobile phones shipped at Verizon in the quarter. This is close to a record, and its highest level for virtually a decade. Samsung is outperforming most of its Android rivals there, such as TCL and Pixel. Samsung has a strong lineup of premium 5G models, such as Flip3 and S21.

This is good news for Samsung, as it moves into the crucial Nov-Dec holiday season, where Apple iPhone is always immensely popular. Samsung goes into Q4 in a healthy position at Verizon.
