Q3’21: TRANSSION Takes Aim at Top 5 in India Smartphone Market

India smartphone market declined by -9% annually in Q3 2021. It however managed a stellar growth of 45% over the previous quarter. Our latest, detailed estimates and analysis are available here on the India smartphone market from the Smartphone Country Share Tracker (SCST) Service.

While the top positions were retained by the incumbent brands. TRANSSION has been the standout vendor in terms of growth in the quarter. It is among the few brands which grew annually. Additionally, all the three sub brands of TRANSSION recorded triple digit annual growth rates. Together, they constituted 9% of the India Smartphone market in Q3 2021. This is the highest share held by the TRANSSION since their debut in India.

TRANSSION is now close on the heels of OPPO for the fifth position in India smartphone market. Can it break in?
