Indonesian Smartphone Market Declined in 2020

Indonesia is the largest smartphone market in Q4 2020 and of the 45 tracked in our recently published report. The report with detailed analysis is available here from our Smartphone Country Share Tracker (SCST) Service.

This market declined in single digits both for the whole year of 2020 and in last quarter of 2020. The COVID led lock down has have significantly contributed to this decline, in the year. Our analysis confirms to local and other smartphone vendors being on the backfoot as the Chinese take charge. Four out of the top five ranked vendors are now Chinese in this market.
