by Rajeev Nair | Apr 16, 2020

Apple launched the 2nd generation of iPhone SE in USA on 16 April 2020. Detailed analysis of Apple iPhone and quarterly estimates by models, is available from our most recent report (here), on the Smartphone Country Share (SCST) Service.

iPhone SE would be available for pre-order from 17 April 2020 on and Apple Store App. It arrives with Apple Authorized resellers and carriers on April 24th. The phone would be made available in 40 other countries and regions from Q2 2020.

It is most affordable iPhone from the Apple’s smartphone portfolio and in normal times gets ideally positioned for markets like India and emerging countries in the Asia Pacific, Middle East African region. But in these unprecedented times of COVID, it is likely to have a strong play in advanced markets too.

The three variants of iPhone SE would be available in the US market for a Wholesale Price of:

iPhone SE (64 GB) = US$ 319

iPhone SE (128 GB) =US$ 359

iPhone SE (256 GB) =  US$ 439
