Offline Smartphone Channels gained in India, in Q1 2019

In a quarter (Q1 2019), devoid of major sales promotion events and activities by online channels , offline gained in the overall distribution of smartphones, in India.  In our most recent report, on smartphone channels, from the Handset Country Share Tracker (HCST) Service, detailed analysis of smartphone distribution in India and by vendor is provided.

E-commerce retailers were the largest smartphone channel sub segment, in India, in Q1 2019. However, their channel share did decline sharply, from the previous quarter. Most of the offline channel sub segments that we tracked in the India, did show a marked improvement in their shares.

This report on smartphone distribution and channel trends in the Indian market, is a valuable tool for the smartphone vendors, regional distributors , retailers and the other ecosystem players.
