South Korea and USA Will Lead in Galaxy S10 5G and Galaxy Fold Sales in 2019

by Woody Oh | Feb 21, 2019

Finally Samsung took the wrap off the long-awaited Galaxy S10 series and Galaxy Fold, its first foldable smartphone several hours ago. Out of five smartphones announced during the unpack event, a lot of attention is focused around two devices, S10 5G version and Galaxy Fold.

S10 5G is a literally 5G version while Galaxy Fold is expected to compose of two variants, LTE and 5G.

As there are few countries, such as South Korea and US, which are currently building the commercial cellular network for 5G smartphones at the moment, majority of S10 5G and 5G Galaxy Fold will be shipped to two countries at the initial stage, followed by West European countries, Japan, China and elsewhere through the end of 2019.

Once the official shipments are initiated, our CST (Country Share Tracker) is starting to be tracking the country-wise shipments and noteworthy trends of both Galaxy S10 5G and Galaxy Fold devices in major countries including South Korea and US, and will be reachable for any sort of inquiries and questions through this link
